Good sleep is very important for our health and happiness. As everyone knows insomnia can also contribute to many kinds of medical problems if it lasts for several years.
Insomnia can come in different forms. Two important kind are either can ‘t fall asleep or get up early. Insomnia mostly is related to how we handle life /work stress, family matters and so on.  Insomnia is one of the major symptom of depression and anxiety or both. It actually means that you can’t cope effectively with stress, either giving up, feel helpless, hopeless, then comes feeling of anxiety, depression and end result is insomnia. 
 Minor depression or anxiety can be managed by thinking positive and living at present and not worrying for what happened yesterday or what will come tomorrow and enjoy every moment of life as is passing by. You can overcome depression/anxiety by psychological treatment without use of any medicine.
